1️⃣ Bitcoin holds around the mid-$84K area after a volatile week. BTC recovered toward $84,000 on Friday as oil prices eased and the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield slipped to roughly 5.16%, but elevated yields remain an important macro headwind for crypto risk appetite.
2️⃣ U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their strongest weekly inflow of 2026. The funds attracted about $2.39B from Sept. 21–25, including roughly $134.5M on Friday, extending their net-inflow streak to seven trading sessions.
3️⃣ Ether ETF demand also strengthened. U.S. spot ETH ETFs took in approximately $689.8M during Sept. 21–25, reversing the prior week's net outflows and showing that institutional demand was not limited to Bitcoin.
4️⃣ U.S. stablecoin regulation moved another step forward. The Federal Reserve proposed rules implementing the GENIUS Act that would require Fed-supervised payment stablecoin issuers to maintain permitted reserve assets—including short-term Treasuries and other high-quality liquid assets—alongside capital and risk-management requirements. A separate proposal establishes an approval process for supervised banks seeking to issue payment stablecoins.
